Depression has become the major diseases of college students' psychological health. Reduce and control the occurrence of depression of college students, mitigation and improving college students' depressive symptoms, not only is an important medical issue, but also a social problem of the widespread concern of the whole society. But so far, depression neuropathological mechanisms, especially changes in cognitive function of the brain mechanisms are not fully understood, intervention research and the use of the method is still relatively lacking. This article is Chapter 4, Chapter 2 to Chapter 4 is our main work focuses on the following three aspects: (1) Students depression patients negative activation variation in emotional cognitive processing. Discriminant image data processing method as stimuli, using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) technology with statistical parametric mapping (SPM) in patients with depression by college students in the task of the state of the brain to emotional pictures of the International Affective Picture Library (PLC) within the the negative activation patterns reveal changes in brain function mode. Found that, relative to healthy test group patients with depression group showed a more significant negative whole brain activation patterns, but the key area in the resting state after deduction back to the negative activate the lack of characteristic, suggesting that depression patients with emotional cognitive tasks, the brain appears greater resource reallocation process, to reflect the change in brain function. (2) Students depression conflict inhibition of brain function in cognitive processing. Using single photon emission computed tomography technology (SPECT), combined with the classic neuropsychological paradigm (Go / No go), and data analysis methods using statistical parametric maps (SPM), found between depression and normal groups corresponding brain areas significant changes in regional cerebral blood flow, a concrete manifestation of the implementation of the Go / No go task, the anterior cingulate cortex and the prefrontal medial frontal gyrus significantly increased in the cerebral blood flow in the lateral and corpus callosum area, suggesting that these parts of the brain functional changes may exist, the college students of the depression in cognitive behavioral inhibition, and the problems associated with specific parts of the brain mechanisms. (3) to adjust the overall physical and mental training (IBMT) the validity of the study on the basis of further exploring the overall physical and mental adjustment method of intervention, depression college students cognitive processing behavior and cerebral blood flow changes in the law. Study found depressive group of college students undergo a short training, a significant improvement in executive control attention network efficiency; positive emotional expression was significantly enhanced: local cerebral blood flow, there have been significant changes in metabolism in depression-related prefrontal and cingulate areas . Overall physical and mental adjustment training can not only improve the emotional state of patients with depression and improve the capacity of the practitioners attention and conflict resolution, also affect the cerebral blood flow metabolism, treatment and improve symptoms of depression. The study provide some evidence accumulated for neurological research crowd of college students depression and lay a foundation for the clinical diagnosis, to provide a reference model for the early treatment of depression.
