Abstract


Objective:To observe the treatment based on syndrome differentiation in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura is effective and safe.Methods:A prospective study from the point of view,and make children who had Henoch-Schonlein purpura without renal damage as research subjects,and divide them into four types by syndrome differentiation,such as syndrome of wind-heat blocking collaterals、syndrome of stirring blood due to intense heat、syndrome of hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency and syndrome of qi failing to control blood.They are treated by traditional chinese medicine.Observation point is set to the end of two-week and eight weekends. Statistics the improvement of TCM syndrome score and clinical efficacy before and after treatment at the end of two-week and eight weekends.And also the time for purpura fading away, the times of it recurrences.Results:Statistical analysis of 61 children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura had no renal damage is shows that:8 years old is the highly incidence of allergic purpura age, boys slightly more than girls.Chinese medicine treatment in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura (without renal failure) can control the course of the disease within two weeks (83.61%).As known as the most usual predisposing factors to children in HSP is infection.11 cases (18.03%) had a clear past history.The syndrome differentiation mainly is syndrome of stirring blood due to intense heat,a total of 52 cases (85.25%).29 patients have rash performance.Before and after treatment,analysis of total cases and patients divied into syndrome of stirring blood due to intense heat,chinese primary and secondary symptom points are significant differences (P<0.05).There is no significant difference of the efficacy observed at the two weekends and eight-week.During the research,no serious adverse events occurred.Conclusion:The TCM is used in children with Henoch-Schonlein purpura based on syndrome differentiation can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and sign. Purpura fades in a short time,and there is no obvious repeated cases.The most prominent effect is in two weeks.After two weeks, the chinese medicine treatment can effectively improve the secondary symptom points and maintain efficacy.It’s safe to use TCM cure HSP.
