Abstract


Objective: To observe Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang ( phlegm obstruct the lung ) clinical efficacy in patients with treatment of ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) , and observe the serum of patients with MPO and TNF - a levels , to explore the role of the Maxingshigan treating VAP mechanism . Methods: A randomized controlled method , 78 patients admitted to ICU from January 2008 to June 2010 , First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine diagnosis of ventilator-associated pneumonia were randomly divided into 2 groups ( group 2 general information no significant difference , comparable ) , the control group of 38 patients given imipenem / West Division he Buna ( Thai energy ) and other conventional treatment , the test group of 40 patients given imipenem / cilastatin sodium ( Thailand to ) conventional therapy plus Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang nasogastric treatment of the two groups were compared before and after treatment efficacy and MPO and TNF - a levels . Results: 1 . Experimental group in body temperature, white blood cell count , chest X-ray , clinical symptoms improvement than the control group , the experimental group TCM syndromes total effective rate was 77.50% in the control group total effective rate of 57.89% , the two groups were statistically learning differences ( p lt ; 0.05 ) . 2 treatment groups, serum MPO , TNF - a water fell by an average decline in the experimental group than in the control group was significantly ( p lt ; 0.05 ) ; 3 . The Maxingshigan treating VAP no serious adverse reactions . Conclusions: 1. Clinical efficacy of the treatment of VAP test group than the control group . Test group and control group the serum MPO.TNF - a water dropped by an average of the experimental group decreased more significantly . Ma Xing Shi Gan Tang treatment of VAP ( phlegm obstruct the lung type) no serious adverse reactions
