Abstract


With the rapid development and wide application of the Internet, it has gradually become the largest information resource treasure and the most important information exchange channels because of the notable features of the Internet information resources is large and disorderly, it appears the \knowledge poor \Most of the existing search engines is the keyword-based text retrieval system, less to consider the semantics of the information, and thus can not meet the needs of different users, the majority of users it is difficult to use them to obtain valuable knowledge of the Internet. To this end, this paper the WWW technology information resources automatic indexing expand both theoretical and practical aspects of the study, its main purpose is as follows: to provide technical support for the handling of Internet information resources, for ordinary users to retrieve Internet information resources to facilitate the building of China Digital Library provides a new research ideas. The paper presents the automatic indexing system based on WWW technology information resources Classified Chinese Thesaurus \and the subject indexing functions. The STAI system is a high degree of automation, easy-to-use software, the test system can simultaneously achieve automatic indexing of web pages in English, both how to combine natural language information retrieval language both superiority in information retrieval. STAI system design and the process of practice, the paper has made some innovative attempts. For example, the use of structured programming methods advanced program design, emphasis on the design and application of the ActiveX control, the objective is to improve the program code reusability and portability; paper first proposed \the phrase \words - CLC corresponding table.
