The Research on Mechanism of NaHCO3 in the Prevention and Cure of the Dothiorella Gregaria

In the reaearch, it cultures the Dothiorella gregaria Sacc. with Potato Dextrose Agar Medium in the lab, dealing medium with the same amount-of-substance concentration of NaHCO3, Na2CO3 and KHCO3. Besides, in the research it adjusts the pH value with NaOH to test the inhibiting effect of the different chemical. Meanwhile it tests the control effect on the poplar blister canker disease of the NaHCO3 in the general field condition to study the mechanism of action on the control of poplar canker disease with NaHCO3.The result of the Bacteria inhibition test in the lab shows that as the following,1. The inhibition effect to the aerial mycelium is significantly of the NaHCO3;2. For NaHCO3, it could bring inhibition effect by adjusting PH value of the environment where the pathogen grows.3. Besides, it could also bring inhibition effect by causing the Proteolysis of the protease which was secreted by Dothiorella gregaria Sacc.;4. The control effect of NaHCO3 is better than Duo Xiaoling.The control effect test was taken in the summer of 2010, the results are based on primary data and information that were sourced from the survey of poplar canker disease. In the control effect test of the NaHCO3 in the general field condition, it takes Duo XIaoling as the reference substance which is the best biocide for the disease control in the minds of the local forest technicians. It analyzes the date of the 12 Sub-Compartment which were treated with Duo Xiaoling and the date of 10 Sub-Compartment which were treated with NaHCO3. For the average of the control effects, it is 3.1% that the control effect of NaHCO3 is better than Duo Xiaoling. The best control effect of NaHCO3 is 100%, and the minimum value of the control effects is 78.05%, and the average is 90.34%. While the best control effect of Duo Xiaoling is 100%, and the minimum value of the control effects is 44%, and the average is 87.32%. The variance of the control effects with NaHCO3 is 0.0044, and the variance of the control effects with Duo Xiaoling is 0.0160.Meanwhile Duo Xiaoling is a copper complex, the toxicity of the divalent copper is much more stronger than sodium bicarbonate. So it’s better to take NaHCO3 than to take Duo Xiaoling to control the blister canker diseasr of the poplar.Due to the limitation of research conditions, the proteolysis detection is relatively, and which protein was hydrolyzed is need to have a further research. Especially for the biocide exploitation for the disease, it is still need to determine the molecular structure and improve the stability of NaHCO3.
