Abstract
The main method of obtaining the GEO (Geosynchronous Orbit, GEO) space debris’information is the time (phase angle) serial photometry. Deducing the physical and structural properties of GEO space debris, to use non-high-resolution imaging results-light curve and study the various illuminations’influence on the phase angle serial light curve and calibration among the factor which affect the light curve is being extensively interested. This thesis focuses on the solar declination’s influence on the optical characteristics of GEO space debris and calibration based on solar declination’s influence on the illuminations. Firstly, to use the tracepro to simulate the solar declination’s influence on the plate target imaging results. Secondly, photometry is employed to study spherical target, based on the optical characteristic simulation experiment of space debris. A phase angle-series light curve is obtained, through the comparison between experimental and theoretical values, the feasibility of our experiment devices and simulation method is proved. Meanwhile, a method is established to eliminate the influence of solar declination on GEO satellite optical characteristic, based on the space geometric relationships of the GEO satellite, sun and observatory. Under the different solar declination, the 3-axis stabilization GEO box-shaped satellite model sample is carried out on photometric simulation. A corrective result is presented to eliminate the influence of solar declination on luminosity and phase angle-series light curve, according to the study of the space geometric relationships of the solar declination and phase angle. Lastly, to use the tracepro to prove the experimental results and corrective theory. The above-mentioned experimental results and corrective theory are significant for deducing the physical and structural properties of space debris and have universality under the ground based geostationary orbit photometry.
