The objects this paper would discuss are northeastern daggers of China. This research is concerned with bronze daggers in the aspects of typology, distribution and the relationship with all-known archaeology cultures, the period and the people who owned these daggers, and the most important, the origins and pedigrees of these bronze daggers, and then several problems about northeastern bronze daggers unearthed in Korea peninsula.This paper can be divided into nine parts:The preface defines the objects of this paper and the spatio-temporal range, the diagram of every part. And in this part the author also made a brief review of the research history and the current situation, and then the train of thought and the objectives of this paper.Chapter one is the basic materials and analysis of statistical data. In this part, the author firstly introduced the situation of all the daggers she would research, including the excavated situation. And secondly, she made analysis on statistical data. Because the methods used formerly, that is, the ratio of length to width, or the ratio of length of the back part to that of the front part, cannot be applicable to all the daggers, in this paper, the author uses the ratio of the length of the front part to that of the back part. And therefore, the typological division of daggers has the unified standard.Chapter two is typological research. According to the analysis, the author proposes the standard of typological division with the ratio. And then on the first, she classifies according to the body and the handle of the dagger. The body of dagger can be divided into three sub-types, that is, A, B and C, when we notice whether there are points and prominence at the ridge. And type A can be further divided into two sub-types, Aa and Ab. Concerned with the ratio of the length of front part to that of the back part, and other changes of forms, Aa has six forms.
