He carried on a systematic and deep thinking to the Chinese traditional thought of painting, and from the view of Dao and art,the view of create, the view of air,the view of pen and ink, the view of color, the view of composition, the view of merge,the view of refine and vulgar aspects inheritted the traditional painting thought. Setting out from the request of times in the meantime, he put times and traditional together, infused new vitality and vitality into the tradition. WuChangshuo is the first person of China painting thought in modern times, his painting thought changed scholar’s prejudice of Shanghai painting, and produced important influence to the painting thought of future generations, until nowadays remains it’s guide meaning and theories value to paingting thought.This thesis employs the research method of combining the history document and pacture, setting out from the social background, carrys on a systematic elaborate, analysis and evaluation to WuChangshuo’s painting thought, look forward to have a deep and real understanding to WuChangshou’s painting thought.
