Abstract


The aim of this study is to analyze the development strategy of Beijing education in the "12th Five-year-plan "period,so we start with its current situation in the "11th Five-Year-plan" period, researching on the achievements,problems and primary ideas of Beijing Education Development.In accordance with the goal to build Beijing to be a worldwide city, we not only compare the education situation in Beijing with that in developed provinces ,but also make a comparison between Beijing and the countries/aeras which have the similar economic level.Then,education is a significant part to realize the goal to build a worldwide city.Finally, we conduct a overall analysis on demographic development and changes,which is the most important object of education service. Therefore, Beijing Education Development Strategy doesn’t focus on the expansion scale, but content development in the "12th Five-year-plan "period. By altering the development mode,can we serve the people’s own development better, serve the social progress better and serve the way to change economic development better. Centering on this development strategy, Beijing education should comprehensively promot the modernization of education to achieve priority development, innovation development, quality development, equitable development and coordinated development.
