Abstract

Versatile servo level gauge system to adapt to the needs of industrial development , for along with the rapid development of the industry , many areas are the conditions of use of the level gauge , measuring accuracy , and cost-effective proposed the status quo of the ever-increasing demands while an intelligent instrument design . In this paper, based on the AVR microcontroller servo level gauge design for high precision automation level measurement . The design produced by Atmel Corporation ATmega161 control core , combined with the use of Hall sensors , pressure sensors , and configuration of high-precision stepping motor and LCD display , provides hardware support for high-precision measurements . The structure of the system as a whole to take the communication structure of the upper and lower bit machine using a standard RS232-485 converter chip MAX485 chip monitoring terminal PC and AVR microcontroller for real-time communication , PC, monitoring of the entire system . Control of the host computer to the next bit machine can not only achieve , but also can lower machine detection data to the host computer , data storage , display , and analysis . In order to further improve the measurement accuracy , the system is based on the principle of buoyancy balance combines two liquid level measurement methods , and then find the average liquid level measurement , not only to improve measurement accuracy and provide a reliable basis for system troubleshooting . The design of system level detection principle is clear , the operation is simple , reliable operation in the commissioning process to achieve the expected level detection and control effect .
