Abstract


Wireless sensor network is deployed in the area to monitor a large number of cheap micro sensor nodes through wireless communication to form a new self-organizing networks. Routing protocols in wireless sensor network protocols upper part of the performance of wireless sensor networks have a greater impact , is to ensure efficient wireless sensor networks to communicate critical network protocols. Wireless sensor networks have limited energy and storage capacity , routing protocol design in how efficient use of node energy , balance energy consumption of nodes and prolong the network lifetime is the primary problem . Papers on wireless sensor network routing protocol based on the research , the main work is as follows : First , a brief introduction of the wireless sensor network architecture , features, and application challenges . Secondly, the introduction of wireless sensor networks and traditional wireless networks have different characteristics , and have been proposed for wireless sensor network routing protocols are classified ; detailed analysis of several typical routing protocol working mechanism , summarize their advantages and disadvantages , as an excellent design based on the minimum number of hops clustering routing protocols laid the foundation ; then , a detailed analysis of the minimum transmission energy (MTE) and the minimum hop routing algorithm (LHR) algorithm based on LEACH clustering ideas, consider node residual energy , the MTE algorithm and algorithm are combined into LHR clustering routing protocol to build inter-cluster routing , the design of a new good performance based on the minimum number of hops clustering routing protocol, that LHBCRP. Improved LEACH LHBCRP first threshold function , increasing the residual energy of the node considered ; then by setting the number of nodes in the cluster to control the maximum and minimum size of the cluster ; Finally MTE algorithm combining LHR and inter-cluster routing mechanisms of the monitoring area cluster head node and the sink node communications. Finally, use the simulation tool NS2 right LHBCRP, LEACH and MTE three protocols for simulation. Simulation results show that : LHBCRP the network lifecycle , total network energy consumption and data sampling quantity has been some improvement , and has good scalability.
