Abstract


With the rapid development of the network , the services provided by the network is also more and more , more and more complete functions . The network is becoming an integral part of people's lives . Especially campus network . The majority of teachers and students through the campus network to share resources , exchange of information. The campus network DNS server is mainly responsible for the completion of the DNS . It can be said that the DNS server of the campus network plays an essential role in the process of teacher-student Internet . However , the campus network DNS server often some exceptions . If you do not discover and resolve will seriously affect the teachers and students have access to the Internet . Therefore, by monitoring the campus DNS servers running in order to ensure its normal work is particularly important . Research campus network DNS server monitoring system is based on the performance of the DNS server host and traffic through the DNS server information integrated monitoring of thinking . On the basis of analysis of the SNMP protocol and its working mechanism to identify DNS server host can monitor the performance indicators in the MIB object name and object ID . Through the host MIB object access based on the SNMP protocol to achieve the monitoring of the performance of the DNS server host . Analysis and to study the the combined detection based on similarity and entropy DNS server traffic anomaly detection method . Monitoring of traffic information through Winpcap packet capture analysis . The detection method is to improve the monitoring efficiency is improved and synthesis of these two detection algorithm , . On the basis of the above study , designed and implemented a the DNS service performance monitoring system , it can be more efficient operation of the campus network DNS server . DNS server problems , the system is able to timely abnormal ascertain the cause of the alarm and propose appropriate solutions .
