As a form of traditional Chinese painting,Meticulous Figure Painting overall shows a delicate and beautiful art style,which is commonly used in the line of exquisite, precise outline of object of external outline, make neat and bright color, and its painting language is refined.Because of its neatly artistic language,from its development so far, people formed a kind of misconceptions about it, don’t think it has freehand.This misunderstanding of artistic language and artistic ideas restricts the development of meticulous figure painting,lead to its decline at the same time of the rise of Chinese Ink and wash painting. Actually, the meticulous painting style of the evolution of characters,ups and downs closely related with "image" of Aesthetic guiding ideology.This kind of image modelling characteristic, is not only the essence which the traditional drawing makes,but also constitutes the portrait image modelling essence.Since China painting absorbed of western painting’s various performance techniques,meticulous figure painters ’ modeling ability on picture color has been generally improved,and composition has also been expanded.Then Meticulous Figure Painting gradually gets rid of the reverse state since Yuan Dynasty,obtains great achievements as we all see. However,many meticulous figure painters’ blind pursuit of meticulous realistic textures,making parade of their technics,actually deviated from the aesthetic orientation of Chinese traditional.So the author try to find inspiration,from some painting theorys and classical Chinese figure paintings,and combining the current situation of the development of the Chinese figure painting with his own practice.Looking from my current collection of data survey,the research on the freehand of Chinese figure painting in domestic is relatively rare, apart from a few artists,had not seen many correlative monographs,the research on the freehand of Chinese figure painting does not form a relatively complete system. This paper is a variety of interdisciplinary research,involving aesthetics, art, philosophy, sociology, education and other fields of knowledge,manifests the discipline overlapping research characteristic,to achieve the purpose of dealing with the problem completly.This article will focus on interdisciplinary study, literature, reading analysis, character interviews, logical analysis and comparative study of research methods. Make depth study by analyzing literature and network resources combined with my own practice experience and express in order to help us realize that is still an indispensable figure in China meticulous tradition of excellence, even if under the contemporary environment.
