Abstract
|
Perovskite oxides have unique physicochemical characteristics andcatalytic properties. However, their applications are totally limited due totheir relatively smaller surface area and pore volume. Therefore manyresearchers tried to find an ideal preparation method for perovskite-typemixed-oxides aiming at improving the specific surface area and thecorresponding catalytic activities. In this paper, several methods includinghard template method, soft template method, and traditionalauto-combustion method were used, to prepare a series of LaFeO3andLaCoO3perovskite oxides. The influence of preparation methods on thesurface area and catalytic activity was studied.Using CO or CH4combusion as a probe reaction, the reactivities ofthe prepared catalysts was evaluated. These catalysts were thereaftercharacterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electronmicroscopy (TEM), N2adsorption-desorption isotherm (BET), infraredspectroscopy (FT-IR), TG-DTA, H2-TPR, XPS in order to investigate thestructure, the crystal phase, the specific surface area and the oxidationstate of the catalysts. In this paper, we also discussed the influence of different preparecondition in hard template preparation on the pore size, crystallinity, porevolume and adsorption capacity of SBA-15and KIT-6.We prapared twoseries of hard template, SBA-15having the P6mm two-dimensionalhexagonal structure and KIT-6having the Ia3d three-dimensional cubic
