Abstract


The people’s livelihood theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics is sum of a series of views and ideas about improving people’s living quality and raising the people’s living standard completely, which was proposed by our party under the fundamental realities of the country in the primary stage of socialism after reform and opening-up. This article totally contains the following four parts.PartⅠ: the forming process of people’s livelihood theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. Its forming process is following behind: the theoretical accumulation about people’s livelihood which was accomplished by the central collective leadership of the party’s represented by Deng Xiaoping; the further development of understanding about people’s livelihood problem which was achieved by the central collective leadership of the party’s represented by Jiang Zemin; the theoretical innovation about people’s livelihood problem which is acquired by the central collective leadership of the party’s represented by Hu Jintao.PartⅡ: the basical components of people’s livelihood theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This theory contains two aspects-theory goals and main contents. The goals include individual social goals. The individual goal is promoting the whole development of people; the social goal is comprehensive construction well-off society. It includes five fields, which are education, employment, income distribution, social security, social management.PartⅢ: the features of people’s livelihood theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. This theory displays openness, science and innovation which other scientific theory systems have. It has very strong humanity and reality, sensibility and revolutionary, political and complexity.PartⅣ: the values of people’s livelihood theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics. It is an important part of the theoretical system of Chinese social characteristics. It has very profound theoretical value and rather rich practical value.This year is the beginning of 12th five-year-plan scheme and the 90th anniversary of the founding of Chinese communist party. We must continue considering scientific development as the theme and thinking acceleration transformation of the mode of economic development as the mainstream, under the guidance of this theory to speed up the social construction and comprehensively improve people’s livelihood.
