Research status of PET packaging at home and abroad was introduced in the base of its related characteristics and application background, including the PET material characteristics and PET bottle blowing production technology and equipment, as well as the development trend of the future. In the light of Wahaha500ml nutrition express bottle light-weighting design demand, finite element analysis optimization design concept of PET bottle was put forward and the key techniques and related production technology were studied.In chapter1, research background of PET beverage packaging was introduced, the present research situation and the future development tendency were discussed, analysis optimization design concept of PET beverage packaging was put forward. At last the research aim and the main frame of this paper were introduced.In chapter2, by the PET material characteristics and PET bottle blowing technology, from independent research and development of the urgent needs of PET bottles, combined with the problem of preform design, the key factor of preform design was discussed, the preform design basic principle of PET bottle was given for different types of applications, and the preform optimization design method was put forward through the empirical formula.In chapter3, In view of insufficiency of traditional PET bottle design process, new processes of PET bottle structure optimization design was proposed based on finite element analysis. PET problems of its finite element analysis were discussed, hot bottle filling pressure calculation method was given, and Segmentation analysis model of PET bottles was put forward and verified.In chapter4, according to PET preform design principle and optimization method, using UG re-develop technology, based on the system needs analysis and the overall structure design, the preliminary design and optimization design process were constructed to achieve a number of functional modules and complete the PET beverage packaging design system development, and CAD parametric was done for the preform design and optimization process.In chapter5,500ml nutrition express bottle light-weighting project implementation process was practiced for application, which showed the whole optimization design process.In chapter6, The research work was summarized and the future work was given.
