Abstract


The university used to manage the library by labor. Librarians need to contact the relevant teachers to gather the information of facilities and its use as well as the information of the librarians, which is very difficult and time-wasting. It’s very inconvenient for librarian to update the information and they need to spend lots of time and repeated labor. To improve the efficiency, the writer sets about developing the system of the library facilities management. It aims to reduce the amount of teachers’work and improve the official efficiency.With the development of network technology, PHP has become an important development tool of web application program. It also analyses the advantages of nowaday management of the computers according to the practical using of universities’libraries. In order to maintain the facilities in the library online, the paper sets up a system of facilities management based on PHP. By using the system, it realizes the development of office computers based on PHP+MySQL. The system uses B/S structure, the technology of PHP, connecting and visiting MySQL data base. It realizes the functions of data increasing, correcting, deleting, process management and so on. It can be used widely and has a strong value of use.The paper presents the process of analyzing, developing and designing a librarian system of facilities management. From the point of managing the facilities in the library, it analyses the demand of management and mainly presents the functions of system, the design of database, the design of each main function module and so on. The system involves modern management thoughts of the librarian facilities scientifically and canonically. To improve the work efficiency, it can finish the automatic transporting and collecting of different kinds of librarian facilities on its own and make every operation service systematic and scientific. It is developed with the connection of advanced computer technology using the PHP language.The paper introduces the process of how to use PHP to develop the system of librarian facilities management. The system includes two parts, system management and daily management. It covers the development background of the information system, the analysis, design, conduct and maintain of the system, and the whole life circle of the development of the system. In addition, from the point of practical use of our library, the system adds a module of staff information management, which make it more powerful. At the same time, by reading the paper, you can learn the relevant content of librarian facilities management and how to use the system. The software is developed based on the analysis and design of the system. It can log and manage the basic information of the facilities and it is user friendly and easy to operate.The system is practical, reliable, advanced and extensional, including five function modules:facilities adding and management, staff adding and management as well as the information export. Every module can be used separately and connectedly with network.
