Abstract


We currently live in an era is an era of information explosion, due to the development of information technology, especially the emergence of the Internet, produce, and to deal with the data has reached a PB (1PB = 1024TB) level, EB (1EB = 1024PB) level even more, this level of data we call the massive levels of data, followed by the problem is how these massive data storage, as well as how to ensure the high availability of massive amounts of data. Although these problems have a more mature solution, but when the data reaches the level of the mass, the previous method can not cope with this change, so we must research new ways to solve these problems. Data to reach a mass level, the above problem, the only viable solution is to use a distributed file system build server clusters, distributed server cluster technology to solve a series of problems brought about by the huge amounts of data. Firstly the mainstream distributed file system research in mainstream distributed file system architecture, advantages, disadvantages and suitability of a distributed file system, select a suitable to build a distributed server clusters . This paper studies the distributed server cluster structures based on the Distributed File System technology, using the Linux operating system and Xen virtual machine software to build the entire cluster. On the basis of the above research work, the successful deployment of the server cluster. The load balancing algorithm in a distributed file system, the file storage allocation is a very important part, in order to optimize the system, to improve system performance, distributed file systems on the selected load balancing algorithm analyzes the original algorithm the lack of solutions for the practical application of mass data storage needs, this algorithm has been improved. The improved algorithm has been tested validation achieve the improvement requirements, system performance optimization. This article achieved the following: This paper studies the mainstream distributed file system, each distributed file system architecture, for the environment, strengths and weaknesses, and so do the in-depth study to select the appropriate system to build this article experimental environment. 2. Research works of the distributed file system, and mastered various working mechanisms of the distributed file system. Proposed a distributed file system-based data storage solutions, to build an experimental platform based on Linux and Xen virtual machine software, has laid a foundation for further study for the future. 4 file allocation study MooseFS distributed systems load balancing algorithm, the improved algorithm. After comparison of the experimental data, the improved algorithm to achieve the desired effect.
