Abstract


IP core network planning and optimization is increasingly important in the context of increasingly rich IP network carrying business . In this paper, starting from the actual network planning and optimization , research BGP has an important position in the IP core network planning and optimization methods . BGP is one of the IP core network an important support technology , rich routing policy control mechanisms are widely used in load balancing is the quality of service control and network maintenance and management . With the continuous growth of users and applications , the BGP planning and optimization become the most critical work of the IP core network planning and optimization . This paper describes the BGP, BGP message types and formats , BGP finite state machine and a variety of routing attributes , and described the general planning of BGP in the IP core network . BGP planning and optimization is divided into routing and forwarding flat and level in both directions and data forwarding . In view of the flow characteristics of the IP core network , the IP core network is often used networking hierarchy . In this mode, the BGP routing forwarding layer This paper describes an incremental planning method used to implement the migration of the the old IP core network to the total reflection IP network environment . For the BGP business layer , in-depth analysis of the BGP community attribute to automatically manage the routing policy configuration , and then describes the BGP routing policy configuration based on business segments share traffic . Network simulation is the primary means of network planning and optimization of IP core network , network simulation tool simulation on a large number of cases to prove the feasibility of the incremental planning methods , and elaborates on a network structure from IGP BGP \BGP routing policy configuration for load balancing is based on business segments , we use OPNET network simulation tool for network simulation . Firstly, streamlined IP core network , network topology , and this streamlined network topology simulation community attribute to the user automatically manage the routing policy configuration . Then , in this simplified IP core network for comparison testing , load share traffic based on business segments BGP routing policy configuration to verify the feasibility of such a routing policy .
