Abstract

Environmental pollution, energy shortages and food security problems have been widespread concerned with the improvement of the human life. Antibacterial and self-cleaning materials and environmentally friendly photocatalytic technology are the focuses in the research field. TiO2is widely used in photocatclytic disinfection, water and air purification, self-cleaning materials, light batteries, hydrogen storage materials and so on as non-toxic and self-cleaning material because of its special optical and catalytic properties, strong oxidative capacity, high activity and antibacterial effect, good thermal stability, long-term effective and low price. However, TiO2is limited in practice application due to the low utilization rate of sunlight and difficult recycle of the powder. So the preparation and immobilization of the high activity nano-TiO2is an effective way to solve the defects. In the paper, the titanium plate is the substrates of growth. Highly ordered TiO2nanotube films are successfully prepared by electrochemical anodic oxidation. Semiconductors compound with TiO2nanotube films by dipping-deposition and the activity of nano-TiO2is improved. The crystal structure and surface morphology of composite material are characterized by XRD and FESEM. The antibacterial and purification performance of TiO2nanotube arrays are influenced by anodizing parameters and semiconductor. The results of XRD patterns and FESEM confirmed that the main phase of TiO2prepared by anodic oxidation method was anatase. The anatse phase transforms to rutile when TiO2calcined at750℃. The TiO2nanotube is distributed evenly, with approximately40-60nm in pore size and100μm-140μm in nanotubes length. The height of the TiO2nanotube is a which is calculated from FESEM.The photocatalysis property of material is influenced respectively by the initial concentration of methyl orange, the anodizing conditions and modification when methyl orange as simulate pollutants. The results show that:The concentration and absorbance of methyl orange solution showed a good linear relationship between0and30mg/L under acidic conditions. So the concentration of methyl orange solution is lOmg/L in the paper. In the anodic oxidation process, the formation and morphology of the TiO2nanotube are influenced on variety factors. Good purification property of TiO2nanotube films is successfully prepared through the50V voltage anodizing1h and calcined2h at600℃. ZnS/TiO2nanotube arrays films, Ag/Ag2S/TiO2nanotube film and Ag/Ag3PO4/TiO2nanotube films are prepared by dipping-deposition and the photocatalytic properties of TiO2nanotube are improved. The photocatalytic degradation process is a kinetic equation. The composite was tested for its antibacterial property by using Escherichia Coliform(E.coli) with detection of inhibition zone and plate colony-counting methods. The results show that: TiO2nanotubes have no antibacterial properties. Its antibacterial properties are improved by dipping-deposition.
