Wireless Mesh Networks (Wireless Mesh Network, WMN) is a combination of Ad-hoc networks and wireless local area networks (Wireless Local Area Network) characteristics of the new wireless communication network . It is also a kind of self-organization , self-healing , high-capacity , high-speed features such as multi-hop distributed networks. Due to its characteristics of wireless routing technology has become one of the key technologies of wireless Mesh network . To optimize network performance , this paper Routing Protocol in Wireless Mesh Networks conducted in-depth research . The paper begins with a brief introduction to the wireless Mesh network network structure and network technology ; secondly describes wireless Mesh network routing protocol design principle. This paper mainly deals in Wireless Mesh Networks AODV (Ad Hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing) protocol analysis and improvement , as follows : 1 high node density environment improvements. Include: 1 ) propose a path selection method of quantitative assessment of risk . This path selection method not only takes into account the probability of affecting the general path selection factors, but also joined the path of quality as the impact factor . Using the path selection probability can effectively avoid prison path caused by the poor quality of the data packet loss . 2 ) Improved protocol introduced the alternate path to the primary path of the transmission the second transmission break quickly , thereby reducing the transmission delay . 3 ) through the improved protocol in different network environments simulation proved that the routing protocol packet loss rate, average end to end delay and routing cost and other aspects were improved compared with AODV . (2) low node density environment improvement. Including: 1 ) selection of the link into the link stability parameter . A link stability parameter determines whether to select the intermediate node, and ultimately establish a relatively stable transmission paths. 2 ) The simulation show that the routing protocol packet loss rate, average end to end delay and routing cost and other aspects were improved compared with AODV .
