Abstract


The facts of the regional economic development have proved that the superior industries is greatly related with the regional economic development. Choosing and defining the superior industries especially within industries are very important to regional economic development, which can promote the development of other industries, thus can improve the input-output ratio in the whole economy Based on the above reason, this article’s main goal is analyzing present situation of industry structure in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps (XPCC) and taking this as the basic point, applied qualitative and quantitative methods to choose and analyze the industry superior industries in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.Firstly,This article reviewed the industrial development and the industrialization stage theory and defining the concept of Superior industries,This article analyzed difference and relation of the superiority industry,the leading industry and the pillar industry,introduced and appraised the domestic and foreign industrial choice and comparative advantage competitive advantage theories Secondly,it reviewed XPCC’s history and the present situation about industrial development the paper holds that corresponding scientific judgment should be made on the respective developmental stages of industrialization in five aspects namely per-capita income level,tertiary industry structure employment structure, consumption structure, industrial structure and the urbanization level Thirdly,based on the Principle and particularity of the choosing superior industries in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps,According to related theories and methods,established the appraisal target system to choose superior industries,and put forward to considering Food Manufacturing,Beverage Manufacturing,Chemical Materials and Chemical Products Manufacturing,Nonmetal Mineral Products Manufacturing,Farm and Sideline Food Processing as superior industries of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corp determined and analyzed superiority in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Finally,this article instroduced the industrial policy theory,referring to the domestic and foreign industry policy,proposed the policy conception of superiority industry in Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps.
