Abstract


The multiscale spatial expression of the map data is the problem of geographic information accepted by the scientific community. Research on this problem, in recent decades, domestic and international geoscience experts concentrated on studying and achieved many fruitful research. Currently, the map automatically integrated technology can not fully support the automatic construction of multi-scale vector map spatial database. The spatial similarity theory is not only a theoretical basis for multi-scale representation of geographic information quality assessment, geographic features front and rear similarity measure and calculate the effective way to design automatic map generalization algorithm terminate. The residential areas are important geographic features on the map. Many existing research on the residents of the synthesis algorithm is relatively mature and of single residents Lot algorithm research. The planar elements before and after space similarity computing research is in its infancy. However, the similarity of single residential area before and after space rarely. This paper to individual residents to study in related fields of research, in-depth study of residents of automatic synthesis algorithms and spatial similarity theory, put forward on the basis of the individual residents of multi-scale expression space similarity calculation method. Specific research work mainly includes the following sections: 1.
