Abstract


As the main part of the car body it’s manufacturing quality to vehicle quality andthe car’s market competitiveness plays an important role. Body welding assemblingfixture is the foundation of the correct localization of body parts, it is the importantfactor of guaranteeing body welding assembling accuracy and manufacturing quality. Inthe process of assembling welding of body stamping mould error and vehicleassembling welding fixture accumulation error will influence body manufacturingprecision. And by adjusting the stamping mould and finding error source it will be takenthe high cost and the cycle is too long. So the method of adjusting assembling weldingfixture to make up for the stamping manufacturing error and assembling weldingaccumulative error has been firstly put forward.This thesis is from practical engineering projects, according to the body parts of A4car from brilliance auto engineering research institute: the left rear wheels cover, rightrear wheels cover, the rear floor, because of the stamping process error and the overallassembling welding process accumulative error, which results in a big gap in the jointsof the left rear wheels cover and the rear floor. The cost of conventional method to solvethis problem is too high. So the method of adjusting assembling welding fixture of theleft rear wheels cover and the rear floor to make up for the stamping mouldmanufacturing error and assembling welding accumulative error has been firstly putforward, and in the finite element simulation environment forecasted fixture adjustmentquantity.In order to solve this error, firstly the state of the assembly together with left rearwheels cover, right rear wheels cover, the rear floor is scanned by photographic type3dscanner equipment to gain the original point cloud data. The scanning point cloud datais compared with its corresponding standard mathematical model by software GeomagicQualify, extracted error data in order to evaluate the parts assembling welding state. Thepoint cloud data is denoised and merged by reverse engineering software GeomagicStudio, eventually formed the NURBS surface. Boundary conditions are exertedaccording to actual fixture place on the position of three parts of the fitting surface., load quantity refer to contrast results of Qualify software, eventually eliminate this gap,this error is solved in this simulation environment, and forecasted the fixture adjustmentquantity, avoid to waste due to repeated adjusting the fixture. Finally practical fixturemodification is guided according to fixture adjustment quantity.
