The river is the urban environment in the important waterfront landscape resources, one of the urbanization process in our country at present stage because of the fast development, the construction of urban environment to irrational brought an unprecedented destruction, the resulting ecological system is also influenced by the large impact, and to the river landscape produced greatly negative role. The river water quality by clear, natural form of clouding the bank by a single mixes clay dam instead, ecological cycle, poor ability of the shortage of water resources of the problem and the city environment and people’s quality of life is closely linked. In order to construct the beautiful city environment and harmonious living environment, the river regulation and regeneration work by more and more attention of the society, this paper analyzes the present situation of urban river, research and survey of the domestic and foreign relevant theory and examples, and puts forward the river regulation and renewable goals and principles, such as into the river from the sewage water environment of regulation, since the net can ability for pollution control aspects, from rivers in the morphology, bank revetments, vegetation, the continuity of the river, the reconstruction of natural wetland five aspects of urban river regeneration methods, finally through the case analytical them further technical support for future river regulation and regeneration of practice to provide some guidance.
