Abstract

CS panel structure is a new kind of energy saving, green building, which has a broad prospect of application and conforms to our country’s requirements of building energy saving and sustainable development. This new type of structure is first proposed at home and abroad. Its seismic capability is still in further studies. The static elastic-plastic analysis (Pushover analysis) not only can get the whole reaction of CS panel structure from elastic stage to elastic-plastic and plastic stage, but also can check the result of elastic design under a small earthquake and get the evolving process of plastic hings under a severe earthquake. According to these results,we can find the weak parts of CS panel structure. So we can strengthen and repair these weak parts and make the seismic capability of structure become better. This paper mainly uses the method of Pushover analysis to study the seismic capability of CS panel structure.First, this paper briefly introduces the characteristics of CS panel structure, and expounds the development and theory basis of Pushover analysis. The equivalent column model of CS panel is proposed to carry out Pushover analysis. This paper uses ETABS software to set up the equivalent column model of a 1:2.8 CS panel experimental structure and carry out Pushover analysis to the model. Both results of Pushover analysis and experiment are basically the same.Second, the equivalent column model of a typical CS panel structure is setted up by using ETABS software. Pushover analysis is carried out to the model. According to the result, the seismic capability of the structure under different intensity earthquakes is assessed and the plastic hinge distributions of the structure under different intensity earthquakes are compared, which are applicable to actual design and promotion of the new structure in future. Finally, the spectrum analysis and the time history analysis are carried out to the same structure. Then, this paper compares the both results with the result of the Pushover analysis. The result differences between Pushover analysis and the two other analysis in the seismic analysis of CS panel structure are discussed.
