Abstract


In many industrial processes, the reliability of control systems is the key to operate normally for the systems, uncertainty and time-delay are frequently viewed as source of instability, and the uncertain time-delay system is much closer to the actual model system. It has very important signification to ensure the reliability and the security of modern complex systems. The fault-diagnosis and fault-tolerant control technology provides a new method to improve the reliability of modern complex systems. Time-delay systems have received more and more attention due to that practical background. Many results on regular systems have been extended to time-delay system. Because of the abundant applied background of uncertainty and time-delay in practice and the complexity of analysis and synthesis, the study of the fault-tolerant control problem of uncertain time-delay system has important value both in theory and in practice.In this paper, the fault-tolerant control problem of the linear continuous time-delay systems is considered based on Lyapunov stability theory. The memory less state feedback control and time-delay state feedback control methods are given. The main contents of this article are as follows:(1)The fault-tolerant control problem is studied for linear continuous system with time-delay. The sufficient condition for the systems against sensor or actuator failure possessing integrity is given by adopting memory less state feedback control law or memory state feedback control law. The results of simulation demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the presented method. And robust controller with integrity design method is given for linear continuous systems with time-delay when sensor or actuator fails.(2)The robust fault-tolerant control problem is studied for the linear continuous systems with uncertain time-delay. Robust fault-tolerant control for parameter perturbation linear system with time-delay is discussed by adopting memory less state feedback control law or memory state feedback control law. The sufficient condition for the systems against sensor or actuator failure possessing integrity is given. An illustrative example and simulation results were given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method. And robust controller with integrity design method is given for linear continuous system with uncertain time-delay when sensor or actuator fails.(3)Above on the results of the thesis, we make a general conclusion, give the design method and propose some related issues of systems with time-delay in the near future.
