Abstract


With the rapid development of the power system,the power grid changes day to day.The communication between devices of different manufacturers is hard to interconnecteach other because of being different in regulations. It results in being long in systemtime response and bad in stability, the efficiency of substation automation system hasbeen affected in certain extent. The foundation has been made for realizing the unifiedinformation modeling in substation by issuance and implementation of IEC61850standard.Substation construction mode and service mode are deep reforming with theapplication of IEC61850standard. Some technical guides and specifications on smartsubstation layout are issued. The specifications prescribe the system constructure,networks topology, configurations of primary or secondary equipments, functionrequirements of automation, and some senior smart applications. The busbar protectionis one of the main relay protection in the power system. Safe and reliable operation ofbusbar in power plants and substations directly influence the reliability of power system.In this paper, based on the IEC61850digital bus protection technology researchThe background and main idea of the standard are introduced in this paper. Themain technical features of network leveling, unified object-oriented modeling, dataobject self-description abstraction of communication service mapping, adopting ofXML language etc. are analyzed in detail. The realization of IEC61850is givensummarily from the four aspacts: function modeling, data modeling, communicationservice mapping, substation automation engineering and conformance testing.This paper discusses the designing method of the protection andmeasurement-control devices in smart substation, summarizes the main processes andsome new conceptions, such as device modeling, FB and LN design, protection logicdesign with visible designing tool, FB mapping LN. Through the static test, dynamicsimulation experiment verifies the reliability of protection logic. Using a61850Communication Protocol of monitoring background to verify the universal.
