Abstract


In the situation of new rural construction,the whole country is actively developing villagegreening programs. Yangzhou is known as ‘the porta of Central Jiangsu’, the modes of new ruralconstruction are diversified and the green environment of different types of villages also havetheir own characteristics,so research on Yangzhou rural greening pattern has an important socialvalue and significance.In this paper,the research object was village green in Yangzhou.40villages which belong todifferent types of villages in Yangzhou were chosen for field research,including the investigationand analysis of village green basic data and plant community sample,to find five types ofvillages’ greening situation and characteristics.Then village greening pattern in Yangzhou wasdescribed from the types of villagae and land with emphasis,and some suggestions about treespecies selection and optimization modes for new rural plant arrangement were given to thegreening construction.Main research results are as follows:(1)By summarizing the general situation of the research area and new rural construction,Yangzhou’s country was divided into five types: historical and cultural village, modern town-typevillage, modern industrial village, tourism and leisure agricultural village, ecological and natural village. Thenthe typical characteristics of the five categories of village were cleared, and the whole contents andcharacteristics of the new rural green in Yangzhou were grasped.(2)40villages were selected from five types of villages to field investigate, includinginterview of farming and foresty department,collection of essential data and record of greensituation. At the same time,3typical plant communities were chosen in every village to samplesuvey.Thus the green basic data and plant community sample data for survey villages wereobtained.Then on quantitative analysis of these data, including green foundation, speciescomposition, proportion of plants arrangement, the number of features and the communityspecies diversity, green status of the five types of village was drawn.(3) The green features and typical modes in different greenland of each type of village wereextracted according to the analysis of village green status with examples.Some optimizationsuggestions aiming at the general problems of Yangzhou rural greening were given, besides,greening tree species and optimization modes of each type of village were recommended.
