Abstract


Listed pharmaceutical and biological products business R \u0026 D investment in the status quo , according to China to study and review of the literature in the domestic and foreign R \u0026 D investment in the status quo as well as the R \u0026 D and technology innovation theory based on empirical research , 44 pharmaceutical , biotechnology the products listed company financial data from 2007 to 2009 as a sample , select the R \u0026 D input indicators as explanatory variables , the main business income of five performance indicators as explanatory variables , profitability , ability to grow on R \u0026 D the relationship between investment and enterprise performance . Papers obtained by the empirical research the following conclusions : R \u0026 D investment to enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises and produce good economic results , a positive correlation between R \u0026 D investment and corporate profitability indicators ; R \u0026 D investment can bring good growth , R \u0026 D investment has a positive correlation with the corporate growth indicators ; lag effect of R \u0026 D investment on firm performance . Finally, based on the conclusions of this study , enterprises should strengthen the awareness of independent research and development , and further increase the R \u0026 D investment ; regulate pharmaceuticals, biological products industry R \u0026 D information disclosure proposals . Research methods, and conclusions of the study , not only a correct understanding of China's pharmaceutical and biological products companies have an important impact investment in research and development , but also provides valuable empirical research and improve their core competitiveness of enterprise .
