The traditional stirred reactors are widely applied in liquid phase reactions. However, due to mix non-uniform, there are some problems such as local reaction non-uniform and selectivity decrease etc. Therefore, it is very critical to strengthen fluid liquid phase to mix uniformity in the reactor, in particular to strengthen the effects of micro-mixing, for improving the reaction conversion rates, product yields and reducing energy consumptions.Impinging streams reactor is a new kind of reactor, which can quickly promote the material micro-mixing and enhance the mass transfer rates. The paper mainly to research chemical kinetics in the impinging streams reactor.By the chemical kinetics of molecular collision theory, molecular chemical reaction must meet two conditions: first, the molecules which to be react must contact and collide, the other, the molecules participate in the collision must have a certain energy and kinetic energy is greater than or equal to critical energy, then the activation of the collision which can react. The submerged circulative impinging streams reactor has a special mass transfer structure and good micromixing function, which make flow micro group mix well at the molecular scale, greatly increased the frequency of collisions between molecules. According to that we can conclude: the reaction kinetics process can be promoted immensely by increasing the intermoleculars collision frequency and enhancing effective collision because of the intense micromixing and the pressure fluctuation in impinging streams reactor. In this paper, the reaction kinetics rates in the submerged circulative impinging streams reactor and the stirred reactor were researched through the four classic reactive systems, which were the hydrolysis of sucrose, soybean oil methyl ester, methyl ester of oleic acid, the synthesis of butyl acetate. The results show that the chemical reaction rate constant in the impinging streams reactor is higher about 10% to 20% than in the stirred reactor. The influences of the rotary speed and geometric proportion effective power on the reaction rate constant in the experiments were researched in the paper. The experiments show that the reaction rate k can be significantly improved by increasing the rotational speed in the impinging streams reactor. The reaction rate constant k was significantly higher than that in the stirred reactor at the geometric proportion effective power.
