Abstract
With the transforming of era and the development of society, the convenient, fast and self-service vending machines (VM) are developing rapidly. The continues achievement of embedded technology makes vending machines develop into intelligent and self-service e-commerce system, and with the help of internet communications technology and network management technology , the system comes to realizing.Firstly, the VM research status and development trend are introduced in this thesis. Considering the customer’s requirements and the feature of wireless city, in order to reduce the high maintenance cost of most VM that using GSM or GPRS for wireless communication, bringing WiFi technology into VM for the first time, not only have nice mobility, but also use their own network to realize personalize management.System hardware is master-slave structure. The main control board and driver control board connect with CAN-bus which has multi-master function to realize the sale cluster concept. The main control board used 32-bit ARM processor, including MDB communication module and USB Host module etc. The VM not only realizes basic sale function, but also realizes sale data management based on U-disk or WiFi communication.The open source, royalty-free, real-time eCos OS is used in the VM control system, due to network communication complexity, and VM have so many modules and real-time requirement. And the drivers for the eCos such as Ethernet, Flash and USB host driver are also implemented. After analyzing communication technology such as IEEE802.11 technology, VM can communicate to server by using wired communication and wireless communication which realized base on WiFi module. And it can be set without proprietary software for small and medium sized customers by using GoAhead embedded WEB server. Software of control system design uses open source software in line with current trends.Finally, the function of system is tested, and the result show that the design not only increased the convenience of network management, but also improve the economic benefits of the product, which will promote the vending machine market.
