Abstract


With the development of automation technology, more and more intelligent electronic equipments (IED) are used in SAS (Substation Automatic System), especially the appearance of new type of electronic current transducer(optical electronic transducer), the demand of digital communication become more and more emergent. Because of the lack of one uniform standard for communication, many products from different corporation can not achieve commutative operation. International Electro technical Commission published a draft protocol named IEC61850 to solve this problem, and specify the communication standard used in substation automatic system.This thesis main achievement is as follows: the analysis of communication model ACSI(Abstract Communication Service Interface) in IEC61850, the summation of digital output of electronic transducer involved in this thesis, referring to the definiation and requirement of merging unit , the design of merging unit from hardware to software based on FPGA (field programmable gate array) and ARM (Advanced RISC Machines). For facing the requirement of physical output of electronic transducer,this thesis design the ralative input interface.This thesis submitted synchronization judge scheme and a synchronization control scheme.For facing the functional requirement of merging unit,this thesis designed relative program including input module,output module,timing control module of double ports RAM,Ethernet communication module.and simulate these modules on the test boards.The result of simulation prove the reliability and practicalbility of designed function.Because of effective normalization, IEC61850 standard influenced the direction of substation automatic system. This standard is starting to spread from the field of digital substation to the communication of whole electric net. The system of new energy resources including wind power substation, solar power substation and Distributed Control System will all use IEC61850 standard for communication. The merging unit designed in this thesis supplys a practialbility scheme, and all of those can be used as reference material to design the similar communication electric network.
