Abstract


The late Qing dynasty and the early republic of China is start-up and development stage for education of modern China. The primary school education in nationwide all showing dynamic phenomenon. As a part of China, the primary school education in Northeast not only has general characteristics of the country, but also has special features of their own development.Thesis mainly from three parts elaborates the development of the Northeast primary school education in the late Qing dynasty and the early republic of China.The first part talks about the overall development of the Northeast primary school education in this period. Including government-run and private primary schools of Chinese founded the primary schools of Japanese, Russians and some western countries founded.The second part mainly analysis several factors that affect the development of primary education in Northeast: education objectives, including the national education policy, educational ideal of local authorities, thoughts on education of Northeast educators and the purpose to run primary schools in Northeast of Japanese and Russians. Teaching institutions and school systems of primary schools for Chinese, Japanese and Russians founded. Teacher training and student recruitment, teaching content and methods, sources and uses of funds and so on.The third part mainly summarizes characteristics and limitations of the Northeast primary school education in this period, and comparison with Japanese. Mainly compare with it from the social system, the attitude of western culture and so on.In the late Qing dynasty and the early republic of China, the Northeast primary school education has made great progress and remarkable achievements of their own development. But its development with distinct times and backwardness form their background.
