Abstract


Poetry, as the content of Tang Dynasty’ imperial examination, which generated a lot of rhythmic poems. Now the study of imperial examination system of Tang Dynasty is involved more by scholars, while the literary works from the imperial examination system still gets less attention. Therefore, from the perspective of poetry in the Tang Dynasty ’imperial examination system, it can help us understand the literature of Imperial Examination in Tang Dynasty, and has a great significance in these areas.But now the study on rhythmic poems is still at the preliminary stage, the content, name and artistic characters of rhythmic poems still has not got deep study; only stay on the surface of collection and summarization. This thesis, based on previous studies, will have a deeply research on the content, characteristics, title, rhythm, rhyme, the application of quotation of rhythmic poems and and its value in these areas. It can get an overall understanding of rhythmic poems and also a promoting for the relationship between rhythmic poems and poetry of the Tang Dynasty There are four chapters in this paper.Chapter Ⅰ, an overview of the general situation of the rhythmic poems.The first section has a brief analysis of the contents of the rhythmic poems; the second and third sections discuss the status and value of rhythmic poems. Chapter Ⅱ mainly on the proposition of rhythmic poems.The first section analyses the origin of the existing rhythmic poems’titles, Section Ⅱ discusses the reasons of the origin.Chapter Ⅲ mainly studies rhythm and rhyme of rhythmic poems. The first section analyses the circumstances and characteristics of the rhyme, the second section examines the inheritance and development of rhythmic poems from Qi-liang Period; the third section is mainly about the differences and similarities of general verses in Tang Dynasty.Chapter Ⅳ analyses the application of rhythmic poems. The first section has content classification, Section Ⅱ examines the using method, Section Ⅲ discusses the use of gains and losses.
