Abstract


For Tang Dynasty Music and Art rapid development, the poet got a wealth of inspiration and created lots of masterpiece about snag of joy. This paper uses the female who plays zithers as paper clues and chooses 151 poems form more than fifty thousand poems as research content first and then chooses 18 poems from the 151 selected poems which have more typical description of the female playing zither, combining with historical records notes, refining analysis of relevant information to build image of female playing zithers. Finally, summarizing the common features which female playing zithers and their clothing from the view of 151 poems and support of others research on the fashion and adorn of Tang Dynasty or supple their inadequacies. In particular, the main body of the paper consists of two parts below.The first part, this paper selects 18 typical poems from 151 poems which can complete the image building of female playing zithers and does a case study and then refines the related information points (mainly clothing and adorn points of information).Through looking up historical texts and analyzing others research on clothing history field late, this paper tries to read Tang poem from a the view of clothing. At last, the paper completes the image of female playing zithers building one by one from each poem.The second part, on the basis of case studies, the paper does a total research on female playing zithers from 151 Tang Dynasty poetry and data statistics to sum up the common features which female playing zithers, such as time, place, identity of female playing zithers, clothing, adorn, posture, moods and characteristics of the surrounding environment. At last, this paper summarizes the fashion and style of female in Tang Dynasty, meanwhile verifies and supplements the inadequacies comparing with others research results.
