Today, car accident is one of main factors that endanger people’s lives and property. So how to reduce accidents and improve traffic safety has been one of the hottest issues.In order to effectively monitor the vehicle status and to predict the likelihood of car accident, there are some technologies. After these technologies are introduced, this paper proposes a technology of vehicle condition monitoring and security alarm, which generally considers the“neural network”and“the driver, the car, the road, environment, vehicle state”five elements traffic safety assessment model, and uses the simulation method to validate this technology is effectively.The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:1. In order to achieve the purpose of accident early warning, there are some technologies: vehicle traveling data recorder, research on vehicle collision avoidance warning, research on vehicle rollover and turnover accident, research on driving fatigue detection, and so on.2. This paper considers the traffic safety from five main elements:“the driver, the car, the road, environment, vehicle state”, and every elements can be broken down into several factors. This paper analyzes the impact of factors to the traffic safety.3. This paper also researchs on the methods of how to obtain these factors, especially in driver fatigue information, road driving information and the vehicle speed information.4. This paper proposes a technology of vehicle condition monitoring and security alarm, which generally considers the“neural network”and“five elements of traffic safety assessment model”, and this paper uses Matlab to design a vehicle condition and security simulation, the test results showed the error was small, it show that the method is feasible and effective.
