Abstract


As we all know, there are many departments and links involved in the investment management of construction. And many of them are huge investments with long period of construction, having lots of uncertainties. All these factors make the investment management of construction complex and difficult. The investment management of construction is complex and systemic. The management of investment always exists in the process of investment. And the investment of project is related to the quality of construction and the time limit for a project. And the effects of investment control are related to the benefit of projects so as to affect the achievements of the goal for enterprises’future development. So the investment management of construction is very significant.The thesis is aiming at the scenario of investment management of construction of Company BG, accumulating unsuccessful cases of business processes for projects of investment, and giving some suggestions and measures to solve the problems by means of analyzing some problems in investment management by cases and combining them with some theories of investment management of projects. The main content is as follows:(1) To sum up the scenario of investment management of projects;(2) To accumulate and analysis some unsuccessful cases of investment of projects especially some irregularities of project bidding from each stage of investment management of construction. To analysis, summarize the causes of these problems;(3) To give some suggestions and measures to solve these problems on the basis of analyzing the causes, and give prominence to the significant function of auditing in the investment management of projects. The thesis summed up the measures of improvement from nine aspects:1) To improve the approval procedures of construction of projects;2) To standardize bidding management;3) To advance the management of contracts;4) To strengthen the management of the distribution and settlement of the material supplied by the builder; 5) to improve the management of the design, modification, attestation and the settlement of construction and installation;6) To improve file management and post-evaluation management.7) To deepen the work of cultivating and training the project managers8) To improve the financial management;9) To further the audit of investment and the application of the achievements of audit.In the end, the author introduces the management information system which is in the trial operation and has made progress in the monitoring and prevention of the risk of investment of projects in Company BGThe research findings of the thesis will be references for Company BG to make related policies and regulations of investment management of construction.
