Abstract


The invention of digital TV technology is a great revolution in the TV technology history. According to the schedule of SARFT (The State Administration of Radio Film and Television), the digital TV will replace the analog TV in most provinces and cities of China in 2015. Besides, during the executive meeting of the state council on January 3th, 2010, the Premier Wen Jia Bao made the decision that China will advance the integration of telecommunications networks, broadcast TV networks, and the internet. Undoubtedly, this policy will bring great opportunities and challenges to the digital TV industry.Instead of the attracting future, we have to be aware that the digital TV is a complicated technology system. To realize it, we need cooperation of high-tech facilities, plenty of TV programs, and labor. In this article, I will focus on the cases of transferring from analogue to digital which had been done by JZ Corporation in Suzhou, and try to analyze what problems they had met, and which means they had tried to resolve them.In the first part, I will introduce the related authorized theories briefly as the foundation of my research.In the second part, I will analyze the internal and exterior circumstances which might give influences to the project in Suzhou. Especially, I will use the PEST to analyze the political, economic, cultural, and technological circumstances.In the third part, I will use the methodology of the experts investigation and the analytic hierarchy process to analyze the potential risks in the project. I think it is a key step to find out objective and effective means of managing the risks in the project.In the last part, I will illustrate how to take precautions against and control the dominating risks in the project.With my research, I hope I can afford a useful reference for the future project management and contribute to the success of replacement of the analog TV with the digital TV.
