Abstract


Chinese ancient absolute monarchy system was first established in the Qin andHan Dynasties, the Tang and Song Dynasties is strengthened gradually, to the Mingand Qing Dynasties, the extreme expansion. Establishment and strengthening ofmonarchical autocracy in ancient China, from the positive side for the consolidationof the feudal state unity, ethnic fusion between played a certain role in promoting, butalso brought the monarch monarchical reinforcement wanton abuse, therefore thecontrol problem of a straight is an important topic of Chinese imperial politics system.The traditional Confucian people-based theory, theory of scourge that provides anideological foundation for the Chinese ancient monarchical power control, on thisbasis, to heaven, orthodoxy and his right restrictive become political practice inimperial times, each dynasty general, these measures to limit sovereign arbitraryexercise of power, to the positive role of maintaining the normal political orderChinese traditional ideology and culture, become the precious essence.This thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter, explore Chineseancient monarchical strengthen history, discusses how to gradually strengthenmonarchical power in ancient China, and reached its peak in the late feudal monarchyera. The second chapter, discuss the theory of restricted monarchical power in ancientChina: people of this theory, the theory of inaction, scourge, anarchic theory andgovernance theory. The third chapter, the analysis ways and means of monarchicalpower in ancient China restricted by the combination of history and theory. The fourthchapter, by comparing with the western experience, positive significance andlimitations of the research and analysis of Chinese ancient monarchical power controlmode, history as a mirror, to put forward some useful suggestions of contemporaryChinese political system reform.
