Abstract


The reduplication in Chinese is an important grammar mean. This thesis takes the reduplication adjective of Anyuan Hakka dialect as its research subject and the three linguistics theories as its research methods. It tries to describe and analyze from form、semantics、function、overlapping features and assimilationt in order to improve the research about reduplication in dialects.This thesis contains seven parts in all. Chapter one is introduction. It reviews the current research situations of the reduplication adjective, and puts forward the purpose、meaning and methods of researching this thesis. Meanwhile, it defines the research subjects and scale, introduces Anyuan’s geography profiles and the basic situation.of Anyuan Hakka dialect.Based on the availability of the base type, chapter two divides the forms of Anyuan Hakka dialect into three types. They are type of overlay base adjective, including AA、A ge A jue、BBA、Ada A and Ali AB, not the base type of overlay, including AAAA、ABAC, and a part of the base type duplication without the base type of adjectives are AABB、XXA、AXX、ABB儿AXX li.Chapter three analyzes the semantics of the reduplication adjective in Anyuan Hakka dialect, the differential of volume between the base type and overlapped adjective, and overlap between the different forms of adjectives.Chapter four analyzes the syntax functions and expressive functions of the reduplication adjective in Anyuan Hakka dialect. They can act as a variety of syntactic elements, mainly for the predicate, attributive, adverbial and complement,and has described, emphasizing and evaluation functions.Chapter five describes the overlapping features of the reduplication adjective in Anyuan Hakka dialect from the form, semantics, syntax and features four angles. Chapter six probes the assimilation function the reduplication adjective in Anyuan Hakka dialect from the form, meaning and function.Chapter seven concluded.
