Abstract

Consumption is not only an economic issue but also an ethical issue. Sincethe reform and opening up, the socialist market economy has been rapiddevelopment and increasing domestic living standards and consumption levels, aswell as modern mass production greatly improve the consumer’s purchase of space,people’s consumption desires unprecedented liberation. At the same time, China’saccession to the WTO, economic globalization has brought Western consumerismthought, advocated by the domestic government to expand domestic demand andthe media hype induction, to further strengthen the people’s consumption concept,which the era of mass consumption a. Increasingly attracted to the satisfaction andenjoyment of the reality of material things, the traditional values of thrift andself-restraint system is being destroyed, the target of people’s lives become moreand more practical, accustomed to look forward to sustained economic growth andhigher standards of living, and even political aspirations and cultural ideals arealso concentrated on the realization of the consumer. Family is the cell of society,is an important part of social life, while the share of household consumption tooccupy most of the consumption of social life, the final analysis, the householdconsumption behavior and consumption patterns by its own consumer ethics, whatkind of consumer ethics have what kind of consumer behavior and consumptionpatterns corresponding. With the continuous development of the socio-economic,domestic traditional frugality consumption of moral values and gradually reducethe consumption of material and spiritual consumption imbalance, irrationalconsumption and illegal deformity spending more prominent, this is not onlyconducive to the overall healthy development of individual family members.hindered the construction of two types of society urgent need to establish a newtype of consumer ethics, and thus in household consumption, whether for theconstruction of the ethical system of social consumption, or for promoting therapid development of the two types of society, has a very important practical significance.
