Along with the advancement of the economic globalization, the development ofscience and technology, the development of the university and the professionaldevelopment of the faculty, higher education internationalization has become animportant development trend in higher education. The countries all over the world aremaking their best to train the faculty with international vision, promote internationalcommunication between the faculty and the student at home and abroad, promote theinternationalization of course, do the collaborative research, in order to achievehigher education internationalization. The faculty, as an important actor in the highereducation internationalization, and their work is also related to internationalization inthe different degrees, including conducting teaching or research abroad andincorporating international issues into his college course teaching or research.Therefore, taking the H university for an example, the paper analyiz the data from the314faculties through the SPSS13and EXCEL data statistics software. Through toresearch the H university faculties’ degree of the international work based on thequestionnaire survey, we learn about that the work of the university facultyinternational participation, the forms of activity current situation, reasons, etc.Obviously, most of the faculties’ work relate with the promotion of theinternationalization process, but group differences exis in the level of involvement ofparticipation in international, or in the age, professional title, category of guidingstudents, the degree qualifications got aboard, experience studied aboard, and theforeign language skills mastered, with participation were significantly related to. Also,we know that the work in the process of internationalization, university faculties’pay a little attention on the work in the domestic teaching internationalization andsocial services, and is not doing enough in doing an international scientific researchproject in independent, introducing the teachers and students to visit each other,geographical expansion, improving the teaching technology of course, improving theutilization ratio of scientific research and so on. We can found it in the survey that thework of internationalization has been influencd by funding, research data, relevanceof the research projects, opportunities to go abroad, incentive policies, the schoolsystem and so on. So from the following several aspects, the paper gives some adviceto the improvement of the faculty’ international work: strengthen the understanding of working internationalization, complete the management of organization construction,strengthen the contact with international organizations, strengthen the management ofinternational course, support the faculty learning, increase the investment moderately,take incentive policy to promote the use of scientific research achievements.
