Abstract


For a long time , U.S. arms sales policy has been hindering the healthy development of Sino-US relations \As a symbol of cooperation between the United States and Taiwan to maintain the beauty of Taiwan sold to China-US relations , cross-strait relations have brought a long-term destabilizing effects , research policy developments affecting the US-Taiwan arms sales factor is the key to solve the problem . U.S. government arms sales policy affecting many factors , of which military-industrial complex is undoubtedly plays a key role . Military-industrial complex produced during World War II , to include military enterprises , the administration , the Congress system and think tanks , including the grand coalition . Military-industrial complex through multi lobbying , financial support, exaggerate the threat to the United States and Taiwan and other ways to influence the parties in order to facilitate the introduction of relevant arms sales to obtain huge profits. Military-industrial complex of the U.S. arms sales to Taiwan policy affects rendering stage , dispersion characteristics of its arms sales to Taiwan in the previous government 's position in decision-making are not the same . Entering the new century , the U.S. military-industrial complex policy of arms sales to Taiwan are increasingly affected , thereby weakening the government decision-making efforts to increase the difficulty of the problem , while not conducive to the sustainable development of cross-strait relations . The impact of military-industrial complex will be a long process and its future development trend is not only depend on the U.S. domestic political process , the same with the United States , both sides of the US-Taiwan relations , worthy of our long-term focus and research. These studies revealed to us : To understand the process and the introduction of the arms sales counter targeted work to do ; to cultivate friendship with China U.S. domestic environment ; to accelerate the process of cross-strait reconciliation .
