Channelization, as a key technology and component of wideband receiver and SoftwareDefined Radio (SDR), is used to extract and separate a sub-band signal or a group of parallelsub-band signals contained within the received bandwidth for follow-up baseband processing.The primary functions of channelization usually comprise Digital Down Conversion ,filtering,Sample Rate Conversion(SRC), despreading for spectrum-spread systems and so on. How toefficiently implement channelization has become a hot topic of research in the communicationfield. The main work and contributes offered in this dissertation is focusing on keytechnologies of channelization including uniform and non-uniform channelization and highefficient architectures of SRC. The contents are organized as follows:More mature uniform and non-uniform channel were analyzed in the sub-band signalbandwidth are equal under the premise of the CEM filter banks based on poly-phasedecomposition structure can be arranged at equal intervals within the receiver bandwidthsub-band signal reception, when the number of sub-band signal extracted, the structure has alower computational complexity and less hardware consuming. The prototype filter designwith a corrugated method such as 2M channel, it can reach to reconstruct requirements.Finally, use the tools of MATLAB to proved to be correct.According how to implement channelized digital technology under the FPGA platform,we studied the related technology. Finaly,the real signal poly-phase filter channelizedintermediate-frequency receiver was designed based on the EP2S development board.Thedesign schemes of ploy-phase filter,decimation,FFT,channel partition and complex multiplyoperation were given.All the correct experiment results of the receiver showed that the design was valid and practical.
