Abstract


Data communication has experienced a rapid development in recent years, which promotes Data Network and data communication lease line services to develop. With the long-term network construction, the Equipment operation, and the influence of the funds, technique development and business expansion in Network Engineering construction, It is limited on the network coverage and the equipments function in Basic data network. There are many problems to be solved on the basic data network of Beijing United Network Communications corporation. For example, network structure not just as one wishes. These problems must to be solved by network optimization which can improve network performance and service quality.The thesis puts forward the main problems in DDN, DPN, ATM and network management of Basic data network of Beijing United Network Communications corporation, based on the network analysis of the reality of the situation.By the analysis of the network optimization background and content of the telecommunications industry, the problems are raised in the thesis about Network reliability, Network control, Network efficiency and Network extension of the basic data Network of Beijing United Network Communications corporation. The Basic framework of network optimization on the basic data network came up in the thesis with the principles and objectives, processes, content, Implementation suggestions and Maintenance Guideline of Network Optimization. Purpose is to ensure to enhance network competitiveness, to satisfy the fast growing market demand in basic data communication network of the Beijing United Network Communications corporation for each network.The thesis illustrates some particular cases about the network optimization process steps, the network structure optimization and the major account business optimization, and shows the specific effect after the implementation of the optimization process steps and optimizing content.
