High definition video conference system and applied technology is the newestdevelopment information project technology, it use high compress and choiceness codecmode, and transfer very good quality and especial clear movement image on limitednetwork bandwidth. High definition video conference system consist of High definitionvideo conference product,multipoint control unit(MCU) and network. MCU isresponsible for bridging multi video conference terminal products. In this article, thevideo conference terminal product is primary investigate object. The High definitionvideo conference terminal product can classify two types:One is software videoconference terminal product base on PC; the other is embedded video conferenceterminal produce base on software and hardware cooperate design.In this paper, theembedded video conference terminal product is primary research object.High definitionvideo conference terminal product key technologies include video codec technology andvideo front-end and back-end image process technology. In this paper, video codectechnology and video front-end and back-end image process technology are emphasis ofstudy and realize. Base on the former people’s research, this article has the followingresearch:1. Base on the research of current video zoom arithmetic, this paper presented thehierarchical linear interpolation arithmetic, reduce arithmetic’s complication andadvance arithmetic’s efficiency.Realize real video de-interleaved through fpga chip useframe copy method.The hierarchical interpolation algorithm expenses of some accuracy using look-uptable instead of multiplication, the algorithm can reduce the complexity. In this article,the author introduced module structure and proved it can replace original arithmetic inless four zoom through experiment. Frame-Copy-Method is a simple de-interleavedtechnology,in HD video conference terminal product development, this method canreduce product cost and mend product development,practice prove this method is veryavailability.2. The high definition video codec implement use software and hardware cooperatedesign technique.The author design codec by software and hardware cooperate design technique andmake innovation in embedded software design. First carve up in software and hardware, confirm some functions using software realization and other functions using hardwarerealization. The codec system structure chart is described by module design and layerdesign technique. The author bring forward zero-copy technique of data transfers andmake sure the codec’s real time and reliability, finally the author gives the codec’s dataflow and control flow charts.3. Interrupt process mechanism implement by software and hardware cooperatedesign technique.In this article, the author proves new design method in interrupt process mechanism.Base on the commonly interrupt process design method, the author make innovation ininterrupt process hardware and software. First the author analyze being issues in thecommonly interrupt process design method, to the question, the author adopt interruptcombination technique in hardware design, on the other hand, in interrupt softwaredesign the author bring forward high half section and low half section process methodof interrupt. This new interrupt process mechanism can full satisfy real-time andstability request of interrupt process through experimental testify, also successfulapplied in the product design.4. Base on MPC8248CPU, We realize a sort of HD Video Conference TerminalProduct, using the key technologies which been bring forward in this article and satisfythe product need.
