Abstract


With the development of the global computer’s technology and economy accelerating at breakneck speed in China and other developing Asian countries, software industries is holding a huge market and bright future for development in emerging markets such as China, therefore, how to internationalize and localize the software becomes a problem with vital importance. It is required to modify lots of system source codes for achieving software internationalization and localization, therefore looking for efficient and one-stop solutions to eliminate redundant code and reduce the repeated work has become an important part of researching in software internationalization and localization.At present, multitudinous methods and solutions have been put forward to realize software internationalization and localization but not cover all aspects to provide a generic solution for the software internationalization and localization. This thesis mainly focuses on summing up of experience in software internationalization and localization, improving methods and solutions, and presenting an idea that automation conversion solution model for software internationalization and localization which speeds up the conversion by automation tool. This solution is reusable to support other software internationalization and localization. Experience has proved that this solution model efficiently speed up the software internationalization and localization, reduce the potential defects and set up a model to evaluate the effort of software internationalization.
