Abstract


With the rapid development of China’s economic level and the state concessions policies for the automotive industry in recent years, the amount of automobiles are increasing dramatically and the consequent traffic congestion, vehicle theft and car accident are on the increase, which seriously impact on the development of the national economy and the automotive industry.According to the development trend of vehicle monitoring and the subsistent problem of the vehicle traveling data recorder, this article has designed a useful vehicle monitoring system based on wireless transmission technology.This paper has analyzed the development of vehicle monitoring at home and aboard, on this basis, it has designed the structure of the system. The vehicle monitoring center adopts B/S framework, users could monitor and management their cars by a terminal which could access the internet.According to the overall design of the system, this paper has carried out a detailed design for the vehicle terminal and the monitoring center.In the vehicle terminal part, this paper has selected the main chip and designed GPRS module circuit, GPS module circuit, memory modules circuit, power supply modules circuit and so on. In the monitoring center section, the communication module, the database module and the main of platform function have been designed.On account of the volume data storage of the vehicle monitoring system, this paper has given methods of optimizing strategies, which could improve real-time response and reliability of the system, and the preliminary security of the system has been designed.Finally, single-module and multi module test have been done, all these parts work well. The end department summarizes this paper and rethinks the shortage; some suggestions for future are also illustrated.The vehicle monitoring system is capable of positioning and tracking the vehicle, and it is easy to operate and upgrade, to achieve the desired design requirements. All the results show that this system can achieve the goals of design.
