Abstract


How to dynamicly select avalible resources during execution combined with businessobjectives value d become more and more important in the information age, which canimprove the avalibility and flexibility of the business process. Artifact-centric businessprocess modeling method is different from traditional process-centric modeling. It considerthe processing and state of critical business data as center to design the business processwhich is easy understood by the business people and help to build business process morequickly.To design the business process, the industry needs a complete design mothod based onartifact including how to analysis avalible resources, how to combine business goal and valueto select resources, how to extract artifact, how to analysis the state transition of artifact andhow to build a excuable artifact-centric business process.On the other other hand, the industry also needs a software architecture to achieveartifact-centric business process. The solution is about how to monitor and dynamicly seclctresources during execution of business process with specific technology.Firstly, in this paper, we present an business process designing mehtod based on artifactstate. This method introduce how to use value and goal model to select service resources tosupport business process and how to extract the state transition of artifact in order to build theopearational model of business process. This mothod use value-driven web designing mothedto help designer discover and design web services of the business process.Secondly, in this paper, a software artchitecture based on MVC is presented to impletethe business process based on the state of artifact. Then a solution of selecting web servicewhich is discovered in the design stage is presented. It transfer the web service selectingproblem to a multi-objective optimization problem and use LP method to slove this problem.Last, we use booking airline tickets on line as case study to simulate the design,impletement, monitor and dynamic selection web services of the business process.Through the airline tickets booking business process, this paper introduces the details ofdesign mothed, implementation, and runtime simulation which includes monitoring and generating execution plans dynamicly. Then the system is tested and the result shows thisdesign mothed and implement of business process are benefit to ensure the business goal andimprove the quality of business process during excution.
